BMW Berlin Marathon

Set against the backdrop of one of the world’s most historic cities, this marathon offers runners an unforgettable experience as they weave through Berlin’s iconic landmarks and vibrant neighborhoods.
On September 29, 2024, I had the incredible experience of joining over 50,000 runners in the 50th edition of this legendary race. From start to finish, the marathon was a whirlwind of excitement, camaraderie, and a delightful tour through Berlin’s storied past.
D-Day Landings Marathon

Run for freedom! The D-Day Landings Marathon, known in France as Le Marathon de la Liberté or Marathon of Freedom, is more than a race, it’s a journey through history.
I ran this marathon on June 2, 2004, amid celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings and the Battle of Normandy.
Marathon du Golfe de Saint-Tropez

This marathon is a chance to discover the stunning Gulf of Saint-Tropez in a whole new way. The route takes you along the gulf through postcard-image towns and the breathtaking scenery of the area.
I ran the 5th edition of this marathon on March 24, 2024. Besides taking on the challenge and enjoying this beautiful area of France’s Côte d’Azur, we ran this race to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in the south of France on August 15, 1944.
Vienna City Marathon

The Vienna City Marathon is a vibrant celebration of running that attracts around 30,000 participants from over 40 countries each year. It offers a unique opportunity to explore Vienna’s stunning architecture and rich cultural heritage while tackling the 42.195 km course.
On April 23, 2023, I joined over 30,000 runners in the 40th edition of Vienna City Marathon. The highlights of the race included the stretches in Prater park where Eliud Kipchoge ran his sub-2-hour marathon; and, of course, the beautiful sights along Ringstraße in the Vienna historic center Innere Stadt.
Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris

There’s something magical about running a marathon through the streets of Paris. It is a unique chance to make the City of Light your own. With its flat course and energetic atmosphere, many runners aim for personal bests here. From the moment you start on the Champs-Elysées to your triumphant finish on Avenue Foch, you’ll be creating memories to last a lifetime.
On April 3, 2022, I joined thousands of runners to participate in one of the world’s most scenic marathons, which took us past centuries of history and architectural marvels.
